Suriya Paarvai(1999)
Suriya Paarvai is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language action crime film directed by Jagan in his directorial debut. The film stars Arjun Sarja as Vijay, a hitman, and Pooja Priyanka as the young girl he protects. Vijay works for crime boss Sundaramoorthy and kills anyone for a price, except women and children. After a corrupt NCB director named Jayanth murders Pooja's family, Vijay takes her in and trains her to fight. The film is an unofficial remake of the 1994 French film Léon: The Professional. It was released on 14 January 1999 and received mixed reviews, with praise for its action sequences and performances by Arjun and Raghuvaran.

Storyline
A lonely hitman named Vijay lives by a strict code: he never kills women or children. When a young girl named Pooja loses her entire family to a ruthless drug lord, she seeks refuge with Vijay. He teaches her to fight and shoot, and together they plan their revenge.
