Viralukketha Veekkam is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by V. Sekhar. The lead cast includes Livingston, Vadivelu, Vivek, Khushbu, Kovai Sarala, and Kanaka. The story follows three irresponsible husbands who drink and waste money while their wives struggle to run the household. When a progressive couple moves in next door, the wives are inspired to seek employment, leading to conflict and eventual transformation. The film was a commercial success at the box office and was remade in Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Vadivelu won the Dinakaran Cinema Award for Best Comedy Actor for his performance. The film was released on 16 July 1999.

Storyline
Three lazy mechanics spend their wages on alcohol while their wives beg for money to feed their children. When a new neighbor shows the women that a husband can cook and clean, they decide to get jobs. Their husbands refuse, lose their jobs, and lie about it. The wives start working anyway. The men's ego leads them to debt, fights, and a dangerous drug deal that lands them in jail. Only then do they learn to respect their wives.
