Thottil Kuzhandhai is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language crime film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. The film stars Ramki and Ranjitha in lead roles, with Anandaraj, Janagaraj, Vinu Chakravarthy, Kovai Sarala, Vadivukkarasi, Vivek, and Karan in supporting roles. The story follows Raani, an abandoned baby raised in a government orphanage, who becomes a police officer and fights a smuggler responsible for female infanticide. The film was made as a propaganda vehicle for the Tamil Nadu government's thottil kuzhandhai scheme, which aimed to prevent the killing of newborn girls. It was released on 24 February 1995 and failed at the box office. The film is notable as the final directorial work of S. P. Muthuraman.

Storyline
A baby girl is abandoned in a cradle and raised in an orphanage. She grows up to become a police officer named Raani. She falls in love with Pitchai, a District Collector. Together they face a ruthless smuggler who kills baby girls. Raani must stop him and save the innocent.
