En Kadhal Kanmani is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by T. J. Joy. The film stars Vikram in his acting debut alongside Rekha Nambiar. The story follows Vinod, a chain smoker who must quit his addiction to marry the woman he loves, Hema. The supporting cast includes V. K. Ramasamy, Kovai Sarala, and S. S. Chandran. Produced by employees of Indian Bank as a small-budget experimental project, the film features a soundtrack composed by L. Vaidyanathan with lyrics by Vairamuthu. It was released on 17 October 1990 and failed at the box office. The film is notable for being Vikram's first screen appearance.

Storyline
