Jalsa(2008)
Jalsa is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Ileana, Parvati Melton, and Kamalinee Mukherjee in lead roles. The story follows Sanjay Sahu, an aerobics instructor in Hyderabad who hides a violent past as a Naxalite. He falls in love with Bhagyamathi, but her father, a police officer, opposes the match. A powerful land grabber named Damodar Reddy seeks revenge on Sanjay for past conflicts. The film blends romance, comedy, and action with a dramatic flashback sequence. Jalsa was a commercial success, becoming the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2008. It set box office records for its opening day collections. The film received praise for its lead performances, music, and witty dialogues. Its soundtrack, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, was a major hit. Jalsa was also the first Telugu film to have an official video game. It was re-released in theaters in 2022 with remastered picture and sound.

Storyline
