• Their first film together, Athma Bandham (1991), was a disaster — 3.6/10. But director S.V. Krishna Reddy didn't care. He kept casting them together because he saw that Brahmanandam's frantic energy and Sunil's deadpan reactions created a rhythm no one else had. That combo became his go-to for comedy tracks through the 90s and 2000s.
• In Nenunnanu (2004), their highest-rated film together at 7.5/10, Brahmanandam played a hyperactive sidekick while Sunil played the straight man. Sunil later said in an interview that Brahmanandam would deliberately go off-script to throw him off, and Sunil had to stay stone-faced to make the scene work. That push-pull became their signature.

• Their pairing in Sarada Saradaga (2006) — where Sunil plays a lovesick guy and Brahmanandam his over-the-top uncle — was the first time a Telugu comedy duo got a standalone 'comedy track' that ran parallel to the main plot. That structure later became standard in Telugu commercial cinema.
