Pandu (P. Pandurangan) was an Indian Tamil cinema actor and graphic designer, best known for his supporting and comedy roles spanning over four decades. He debuted in Maanavan (1970) and gained wider recognition through films like Panakkaran (1990), Coimbatore Mappillai (1996), Pudhalvan (1997), Shahjahan (2001), and Thoonga Nagaram (2011). Beyond acting, he held a PhD in arts from France and founded Capital Letters, a graphic design firm responsible for the AIADMK party symbol and logo. Pandu passed away on 6 May 2021 at age 74 due to COVID-19, leaving behind a legacy as a reliable character actor in Tamil commercial cinema.
