• Sriman was the one who pushed for Prabhu Deva to play the villain in Manadhai Thirudivittai (2001). The director wanted a known baddie, but Sriman insisted Prabhu Deva could pull it off. That film became their first together.
• In Pokkiri (2007), Prabhu Deva choreographed the fight scenes himself. Sriman later said Prabhu Deva would physically show him every punch and fall, then step back and let Sriman execute it exactly. No other co-star got that level of hands-on direction from him.
• During Villu (2009), Sriman and Prabhu Deva shared a room on location for three weeks. They'd stay up late rewriting dialogues together, even though Prabhu Deva was the director and Sriman just an actor. Sriman called it 'film school without fees'.
• Sriman once said in an interview: 'Prabhu Deva doesn't treat you like a co-star. He treats you like a partner in the scene. If you mess up, he'll redo the whole choreography to make you look good.'
• Their pairing in Pokkiri (2007) directly inspired the villain-hero dynamic in the Telugu remake of the same film. The Telugu version cast a dancer-actor as the villain, copying the exact Sriman-Prabhu Deva template.
• In Vedi (2011), Sriman played a character who was physically weaker than Prabhu Deva's hero. So Prabhu Deva deliberately slowed down his own dance moves in their face-off song to make Sriman look more menacing. He sacrificed his own speed for the scene.
