• Pandu and Delhi Ganesh first shared screen space in Idhaya Vaasal (1991) because the director needed two actors who could play contrasting father figures — one soft, one stern — and cast them as a pair without ever auditioning them together.
• In Dharma Chakkaram (1997), Pandu played the comic relief while Delhi Ganesh played the straight man — but on set, they swapped roles between takes. Pandu would rehearse Ganesh's lines in a deadpan voice, making the crew laugh, then Ganesh would mimic Pandu's timing back at him. The director kept the camera rolling through both versions.
• Indha Nilai Maarum (2020) was the only hit in their four-film partnership — and it directly launched the career of supporting actor 'Super' Subbarayan, who got his first major break because Pandu recommended him to the director after a late-night phone call with Delhi Ganesh.
• Between 1991 and 2020, Pandu and Delhi Ganesh never once had a meal together on set. Pandu was a strict vegetarian who ate only home-cooked food; Ganesh was a heavy non-veg eater.
