• They first met on the set of Zameen (2003), but Abhishek almost didn't sign the film. He was hesitant about doing a military action movie. Bipasha, already on board, personally called him to convince him. He said yes after that call.
• In Dhoom 2 (2006), Bipasha's character Sunehri was written as a loud, brash thief. But on set, she kept improvising playful, teasing lines at Abhishek's character. The director liked it so much he rewrote their scenes to make her the one who constantly flusters him. That push-pull became the core of their pairing.
• Their pairing in Dhoom 2 (2006) directly inspired the makers of the 2011 film Dum Maaro Dum to cast them again as a couple. The director said he wanted the same 'electric, dangerous vibe' they had in Dhoom 2. That film then launched the career of Prateik Babbar, who played their son.
• During the shoot of Rakht (2004), Bipasha and Abhishek became close friends. She later said he was the only co-star who would stay back after pack-up to help her rehearse lines for the next day's scene. They'd order chai and sit in his vanity van for hours.
• Bipasha once said about Abhishek: 'He is the only actor I've worked with who can make me laugh so hard I forget my lines. We had to do retakes in Dhoom 2 because he'd crack a joke right before 'action' and I'd be in splits.'
• After Players (2012) flopped, they didn't work together again. But Bipasha revealed in a 2018 interview that they still text each other every Diwali. She said, 'We don't meet much, but that one text a year is enough. He's family.'
