• They first came together in Mohra (1994) because Raveena was the only actress willing to do the now-iconic 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast' song. The producers wanted a bigger name, but she said yes immediately, and the song became a national obsession.
• In Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Akshay did most of his own stunts, but Raveena matched his physical energy in the action sequences. She insisted on doing the underwater fight scene without a double, which forced Akshay to up his game — he later said she was 'tougher than she looked' on set.
