• Ali was cast in Super Police (1994) because Jayasudha specifically requested him. She had seen his comic timing in a stage play and told the director she wouldn't do the film without him.
• In Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi (2003), Jayasudha deliberately slowed down her dialogue delivery in every scene with Ali. She knew his strength was reacting, not rushing — so she gave him space to land his punchlines.
• During the shoot of Parama Veera Chakra (2011), Ali would bring Jayasudha homemade biryani every Sunday. She later said it was the only reason she agreed to do the film — because the script was weak.
