• Tanikella Bharani and Kaveri first shared screen space in 2003's 'Kabaddi Kabaddi', a film that was originally written for a different heroine. Kaveri was brought in last minute after the original choice backed out, and Bharani's character was expanded on set to match her energy.
• In 'Dongodu' (2003), Bharani played the comic villain while Kaveri played the love interest — but their scenes together were pure improv. Bharani would deliberately flub his lines to make Kaveri laugh on camera, and the director kept those takes because her genuine giggles fit the scene.
