• For 'Sogasu Chuda Taramaa?' (1995), director Jandhyala cast Indraja and Annapoorna as mother and daughter — but Annapoorna was only 12 years older than Indraja in real life. The age gap was so small that the makeup team had to work overtime to make Annapoorna look convincingly maternal.
• In 'Peddannayya' (1997), Annapoorna played the strict mother-in-law while Indraja played the rebellious daughter-in-law.
