• Puthiya Aatchi (1995) was the only film where they played brothers instead of rivals. That role reversal directly inspired director K. S. Ravikumar to cast them as a comedic duo in his later film Nattamai (1994), which became a template for Tamil buddy comedies.
• Janagaraj once said in a 1996 interview: 'Radha Ravi is the only actor who can make me forget my lines because I'm laughing at his anger. He doesn't act angry — he gets angry. That's real.'
• In all four films, Radha Ravi's character always had the last line of their shared scene — but Janagaraj's reaction shot after that line is what audiences remembered. Janagaraj deliberately held his expression a beat longer than normal, letting Radha Ravi's dialogue land harder.
• Radha Ravi and Janagaraj first shared screen space in Uyarndha Ullam (1985) because the director needed a loud, contrasting villain to bounce off Janagaraj's nervous comic energy. Janagaraj personally recommended Radha Ravi after their earlier stage work together.
• In Ullathil Nalla Ullam (1988), Janagaraj would deliberately flub his lines to make Radha Ravi break character mid-scene. Radha Ravi then improvised angry retorts that became the scene's punchlines. The director kept rolling because the takes were funnier than the script.
• During the shoot of Amaran (1992), Radha Ravi and Janagaraj shared a room in a small lodge near the forest location. Every night, Janagaraj would make filter coffee for both of them using a stove he carried from Chennai. They never told the crew.
