• Vishnu Manchu once said in an interview: 'Brahmanandam garu doesn't just make you laugh — he makes you a better actor. I'd blank out on my lines just to watch him work.'
• Brahmanandam was the one who suggested Vishnu Manchu for the lead in 'Vishnu' (2003) after the director struggled to find the right actor. Vishnu was still finding his footing, and Brahmanandam's word got him the role.
• In 'Suryam' (2004), Brahmanandam improvised an entire comedy track on set while Vishnu Manchu fed him straight lines. Vishnu later said he learned to time his pauses by watching Brahmanandam's rhythm.
• During the shoot of 'Krishnarjuna' (2008), Vishnu Manchu would drive Brahmanandam home every night after pack-up because Brahmanandam hated late-night auto rides. They'd stop for chai at the same dhaba for three months straight.
• Their double-act in 'Saleem' (2009) — where Brahmanandam plays a bumbling sidekick who accidentally solves the plot — directly inspired the comedy track in the 2011 film 'Dookudu', which reused the same 'hero's clueless friend' template.
• In 'Vishnu' (2003), Brahmanandam deliberately slowed down his comic timing to match Vishnu Manchu's more earnest, straight-man delivery. Vishnu later admitted that without that adjustment, their scenes would have felt like two different movies.
