• They first shared screen space in 'Sneham Kosam' (1999) because director S. V. Krishna Reddy thought their contrasting comic styles — Narayana's deadpan timing vs Babu Mohan's loud energy — would bounce off each other perfectly. He was right.
• In 'Oke Maata' (2000), Babu Mohan would deliberately flub his lines to throw Narayana off, forcing him to improvise on the spot. Narayana later admitted those unscripted moments became the funniest bits in the film.
