• Chandramohan was initially hesitant to share screen space with Chalapathi Rao in 'Chala Bagundi' (2000), fearing their age gap would look odd. Rao personally called him and said, 'Nuvvu hero avvochu, nenu comedy chestha — audience ki nacchutundi,' and that one call sealed the deal.
• In 'Oka Radha Iddaru Krishnula Pelli' (2003), Chalapathi Rao would deliberately flub his lines during rehearsals to make Chandramohan laugh, breaking his tension. Chandramohan then used that real irritation in the final take — the scene where he yells at Rao's character is actually him yelling at Rao the actor.
• On the sets of 'Yogi' (2007), the two shared a single vanity van because both refused to take the bigger one. They ended up playing cards between shots, and the production team had to drag them out for scenes.
• The comic track between Chalapathi Rao and Chandramohan in 'Chala Bagundi' (2000) was so well-received that the director, E. V. V.
