Sri Ramulayya(1999)
Sri Ramulayya is a 1998 Indian Telugu-language biographical film directed by N. Shankar. The lead cast includes Mohan Babu, Nandamuri Harikrishna, and Soundarya. The film chronicles the life of Paritala Sriramulu, a Naxalite leader who fought for land rights for the poor in rural Andhra Pradesh. It depicts his rise as a revolutionary, his betrayal by a trusted associate, and his eventual death in a police encounter. The movie was a commercial success at the box office and won two Nandi Awards, including Best Male Playback Singer for Vandemataram Srinivas. The film's launch event was marred by a bomb blast that killed thirty people.

Storyline
