Izzat(1991)
'Izzat' (transl. Respect) is a 1991 Hindi-language action film directed by Ashok Gaikwad. The cast includes Jackie Shroff, Sangeeta Bijlani, Shakti Kapoor, and Gulshan Grover. The story follows Inspector Siddanth, who is framed for murder by a corrupt village lord and a politician. Siddanth escapes prison and goes undercover as a woman to expose the criminals. The film features a large ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Amjad Khan, and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. It is a remake of the 1984 Bengali film 'Shatru'. The soundtrack was composed by Shyam-Surender with vocals by Mohammed Aziz and Udit Narayan. The film was noted for its action sequences and Jackie Shroff's dual-role performance.
