• They were thrown together by B-grade action director Rajkumar Kohli, who needed a reliable villain duo that could work cheap and fast. Neither had met before the first day of 'Police Officer' (1992).
• In 'Phool Aur Angaar' (1993), Gaikwad played the silent, coiled muscle while Kapoor did all the snarling dialogue. Kapoor later admitted in a trade interview that Gaikwad's stillness forced him to raise his own volume — making their scenes feel like a bomb and a fuse.
• On the sets of 'Krishan Avtaar' (1993), the two shared a room in a cheap Oshiwara lodge because the producer refused to pay for separate accommodation. They reportedly bonded over chai and complaints about the director's lighting.
• Their fight sequence in 'Police Officer' (1992) — a 7-minute hand-to-hand brawl in a godown — was directly ripped off by a 1995 Telugu B-movie 'Police Bhadra'. The Telugu producer bought the rights to reuse the footage.
