'Naan Adimai Illai' is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film produced and directed by Dwarakish. The film stars Rajinikanth as Vijay and Sridevi as Priya. It is a remake of the Hindi film 'Pyar Jhukta Nahin' (1985). The story follows a middle-class photographer who marries a wealthy woman against her father's wishes. Their marriage is destroyed by class differences and the father's manipulation. The film explores themes of sacrifice, mental health, and the power of love. It was Sridevi's final Tamil film before her Bollywood career. The movie was a box office failure upon release. The soundtrack was composed by Vijay Anand.
