Nooravathu Naal is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language mystery thriller film directed by Manivannan. The lead cast includes Vijayakanth, Mohan, and Nalini, with Sathyaraj playing the antagonist. The story follows a woman named Devi who experiences premonitions of murders and tries to prevent them. The film is an unofficial adaptation of the 1977 Italian giallo film Sette note in nero. It was a commercial success, running for over 200 days in theatres. The film is noted for Sathyaraj's acclaimed performance as a psychopathic killer and Ilaiyaraaja's musical score. It was later remade in Malayalam and Hindi. The film was released on 23 February 1984.

Storyline
A college student named Devi has a nightmare about her sister being murdered. The next day, her sister disappears without a trace. Years later, Devi marries a wealthy businessman and moves into his old bungalow. She starts having new visions of murders. With the help of her cousin Raju, she must uncover the truth behind her visions and stop a killer before it is too late.
