Kavikkuyil(1977)
Kavikkuyil is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Devaraj–Mohan. The film stars Sivakumar as Gopal, Sridevi as Radha, and Fatafat Jayalaxmi as Lakshmi, with Rajinikanth, S. V. Subbaiah, and Senthamarai in supporting roles. The story follows a flute player who believes Lord Krishna will guide him to his destined wife, but a head injury causes amnesia, leading to social conflict and heartbreak. The film was shot in Chikmagalur and Kollimalai over 15 days. Ilaiyaraaja's soundtrack, featuring songs like 'Chinna Kannan Azhaikkiraan' and 'Kadhal Oviyam', established him as a leading composer. Despite critical praise for its acting and music, the film failed at the box office. It was released on 29 July 1977.

Storyline
A gifted flute player named Gopal believes Lord Krishna will send him the perfect wife. He meets Radha, a poor vegetable seller, and they fall in love. But a terrible accident robs Gopal of his memory, leaving Radha pregnant and alone. His grandfather schemes to keep them apart, forcing Gopal into an arranged marriage.
