'Unnai Suttrum Ulagam' (transl. The world revolves around you) is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by G. Subramaniya Reddiar. It stars Jayalalithaa in the lead role, with Kamal Haasan, Savithri, Vijayakumar, Prameela, and Vidhubala in supporting roles. The story follows Lakshmi, a village girl who sacrifices her own happiness to raise her younger siblings after their mother's absence. The film explores themes of family duty, loss, and redemption. Jayalalithaa won the Tamil Nadu Cinema Fan Award for Best Actress for her performance. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh with lyrics by Vaali. The film was released on 29 April 1977.

Storyline
Lakshmi is the eldest sister in a family without a mother. She works hard to raise her younger siblings, but her brother Raja disrespects her. When her sister Seetha dies during childbirth, Lakshmi takes in the baby. She must hold her family together while facing loneliness and loss.
