Thunive Thunai(1976)
Thunive Thunai is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. The film stars Jaishankar in a dual role as CID officer Anand and gangster Dhayal, alongside Jayaprabha in her debut and Rajasulochana as the villainous Thalaivi. The story follows a CBI officer who investigates his brother's mysterious death in a village controlled by a smuggling ring. The film blends horror, mystery, and action, with a climax featuring a helicopter chase shot at Kovalam Beach. It was the first colour film directed by Muthuraman and was written by Panchu Arunachalam. The film released on 13 April 1976 and became a commercial success.

Storyline
A CBI officer named Anand travels to a remote village to find out why his brother died of shock. The villagers refuse to help him and try to scare him away. Anand disguises himself as a gangster to infiltrate the village's secret smuggling operation led by a powerful woman.
