
Pallandu Vazhga(1975)
'Pallandu Vazhga' (1975) is a Tamil-language prison drama film directed and edited by K. Shankar. It stars M. G. Ramachandran as Rajan, a prison warden, and Latha as Saroja. The story follows Rajan as he takes six paroled convicts to a dilapidated farm to rehabilitate them through hard work and guidance. The film is a remake of the 1957 Hindi film 'Do Aankhen Barah Haath' but features a different ending and a love story. It includes references to Tamil Nadu politics and was shot predominantly in Karnataka. The film broke even and ran for over 100 days in theatres, though it was not as successful as the original. It was released on 31 October 1975.

Storyline
Prison warden Rajan believes even murderers can change. He takes six convicts on parole to a broken farm. If even one man escapes, Rajan goes to jail. He must turn them into good men before time runs out.
