CID Shankar is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language spy thriller film directed by R. Sundaram and produced by Modern Theatres. The film stars Jaishankar in the title role, alongside C.I.D. Sakunthala, R.S. Manohar, and O.A.K. Devar. The story follows an undercover police officer who infiltrates a violent gang to stop a series of mysterious murders. The film was shot in black and white and features a runtime of 137 minutes. It is known for its action sequences and suspenseful plot. The airport scene was filmed at the old Coimbatore Airport.
