Pattanathil Bhootham(1967)
Pattanathil Bhootham is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language fantasy comedy film directed by M. V. Raman. It stars Jaishankar, K. R. Vijaya, Nagesh, and Javar Seetharaman as the genie. The story follows two college friends who release a genie from an ancient urn and use his powers to change their lives. The film is an adaptation of the 1964 American film The Brass Bottle and draws inspiration from the Aladdin folktale. It was produced by Venus Pictures and features a soundtrack composed by R. Govardhanam with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film was a major commercial success upon its release on 14 April 1967.

Storyline
Two college friends, Bhaskar and Seenu, win a mysterious urn at a competition. When they open it, they release a powerful genie named Jee-Boom-Ba. The genie grants their every wish, but his clumsy magic creates chaos in their lives and threatens Bhaskar's relationship with his girlfriend Latha.
