Raja Desingu is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language biographical film directed by T. R. Raghunath. It stars M. G. Ramachandran, S. S. Rajendran, Bhanumathi, and Padmini in lead roles. The film depicts the life of an 18th-century Rajput king who refuses to submit to Mughal authority. It follows his preparation for war, the betrayal by a trusted minister, and his final battle against overwhelming odds. The film is notable for its action sequences and emotional depth. Storyline
A Rajput king named Desingu refuses to pay taxes to the Mughal emperor. The emperor sends a massive army to crush him. Desingu must defend his kingdom with a small force. Betrayal from within makes his fight even harder. He faces an impossible choice: surrender or die for honor.
