
Perazhagan(2004)
Perazhagan is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Sasi Shanker and produced by AVM Productions. The film stars Suriya and Jyothika in dual roles, with Vivek, Manorama, Bobby, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Devan in supporting roles. The story follows a hunchbacked village youth named Chinna who helps a lookalike college student named Karthik elope with his love Priya. After Priya is murdered, Chinna meets a blind orphan named Shenbagam who resembles Priya. The film explores themes of inner beauty, sacrifice, and justice. Suriya won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil for his performance, and Jyothika won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was released on 7 May 2004 and received positive reviews for its performances and emotional storytelling.

Storyline
A kind hunchback named Chinna runs a phone booth in a village and dreams of finding a bride. He meets a lookalike college student named Karthik who is in love with Priya. After a tragedy, Chinna falls for a blind orphan named Shenbagam who looks like Priya. Chinna must choose between his own happiness and sacrificing for Karthik.
