Storyline

Sundaram is a young farmer who is overweight and constantly mocked by his village. His dying mother's only wish is to see him married. When a girl agrees to marry him, he is overjoyed, but she later confesses she loves another man. Heartbroken, Sundaram lets her go. After his mother dies, the villagers blame him. A kind teacher helps him see his own worth.
