Trivia

  • The film was initially titled 'Ventriloquist' but was changed to 'Namo Venkatesa' to better highlight the lead actor Venkatesh's star power.
  • This was the first and only collaboration between director Sreenu Vaitla and actor Venkatesh, despite both being major figures in Telugu comedy cinema.
  • A significant portion of the film was shot in Europe, including Switzerland and France, which was a notable production scale for a comedy-drama at the time.
  • The character Paris Prasad, played by Brahmanandam, became one of his most popular comic roles, with his unique style and the catchphrase 'bakra'.
  • Actress Trisha learned to ride a scooter specifically for a comedic chase sequence in the film's second half.
  • The movie's soundtrack, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, included a hit song 'Chamku Chamku' that featured a distinctive tap dance routine.
  • The film's plot involving a ventriloquist protagonist was considered a relatively novel concept for mainstream Telugu cinema in 2010.
