• They first shared screen space in Saleem (2009) because director GV Sudhakar Naidu specifically wanted a pair of actors who could bounce rapid-fire comedic insults off each other. Raghu Babu was the first choice; Jayaprakash Reddy was brought in to match his energy after the director saw them in separate films.
• In Jump Jilani (2014), Raghu Babu would deliberately pause mid-dialogue to let Jayaprakash Reddy's delayed, deadpan reactions land. Raghu later told a behind-the-scenes crew that he learned to 'leave space' for Reddy's timing — something he didn't do with other co-stars.
• Their comic track in Amar Akbar Anthony (2018) — where they play two bumbling henchmen who keep failing their boss — became so popular that the film's director, Srinu Vaitla, later admitted he wrote a separate spin-off script for the duo. It never got made, but the idea was directly born from their scenes together.
• On the sets of Namo Venkatesa (2010), the two discovered they shared the same tailor. They started coordinating their shirt fabrics for every film they did together — a private joke that neither ever explained publicly.
• Raghu Babu once said in a 2018 interview: 'Jayaprakash Reddy garu and I never rehearsed a single scene. We'd just look at each other and start. If one of us laughed, we kept it in the final cut.'
