Trivia
- The film was a remake of the director's own Kannada movie 'H2O', which also starred Jagapathi Babu in the lead role.
- Comedian Ali's character was originally written for Brahmanandam, but scheduling conflicts led to the change.
- The song 'Chilaka Chilaka' became a huge hit and is still played at many Telugu weddings and celebrations.
- This was one of the few films where actor Jagapathi Babu played a full-length comedy role instead of his usual action or romantic parts.
- The movie's climax was shot in a single schedule at a specially constructed set to maintain continuity in the chaotic scenes.
- Director S.V. Krishna Reddy also composed the film's music, as he did for many of his own directorial projects.
