• Nassar was the one who suggested Jr. NTR for the lead in Naaga (2003). The director thought NTR was too young, but Nassar pushed for him. That film became their first together.
• In Simhadri (2003), Nassar played the villain. He deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery to match NTR's raw energy. NTR later said that rhythm made their confrontation scenes electric.
• On the sets of Adhurs (2010), Nassar would cook biryani for the entire unit every Sunday. NTR would sit with him and eat from the same plate. They never missed a single Sunday meal together during that shoot.
