Aavida Maa Aavide(1998)
Aavida Maa Aavide is a 1998 Telugu comedy-drama film directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana. The film stars Nagarjuna, Tabu, and Heera Rajagopal in lead roles. The story follows police inspector Vikranth who loses his wife and son in a presumed explosion. He remarries, but his first wife returns alive, forcing him to manage two households. The film is inspired by the 1940 American film My Favorite Wife and the poem Enoch Arden. It features music composed by Sri with lyrics by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. The film had a large opening but an average box office run. It was dubbed into Tamil as Police Killadi and Hindi as Biwi No.2.

Storyline
Police inspector Vikranth loses his wife and son in a tragic explosion. Years later, he remarries a young woman named Jhansi. But his first wife Archana returns alive, having been kidnapped before the blast. Vikranth must now hide his second marriage from Archana and his first marriage from Jhansi. His double life spirals into chaos when both women become neighbors.
