Dharma Chakram (1996) is a Telugu-language action thriller film written and directed by Suresh Krissna. It stars Venkatesh, Ramya Krishna, Prema, and Girish Karnad. The story follows Rakesh, an honest lawyer who hates his father Mahendra, a corrupt politician. When Mahendra commits a murder, he forces Rakesh to defend him in court. The film explores the conflict between family loyalty and justice. Venkatesh won the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance. The film was also dubbed in Tamil as Nakkeeran. It was produced by D. Ramanaidu under Suresh Productions.

Storyline

Rakesh is a lawyer who fights for poor people. He hates his father Mahendra, a powerful politician. Years ago, Mahendra destroyed Rakesh's first love. Now Mahendra commits a murder and wants Rakesh to defend him. Rakesh must choose between his hatred and his duty.
