Kobbari Bondam(1991)
Kobbari Bondam (transl. Coconut) is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language comedy film directed by Katragadda Raviteja. The film stars Rajendra Prasad as Raju, a timid college student, and Nirosha as Meghamala, his love interest. The supporting cast includes Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sudhakar, and Mallikarjuna Rao. The story follows Raju's journey from a bullied coward to a confident man after he discovers a supposedly magical coin. The film is the debut of S. V. Krishna Reddy, who wrote the story, composed the music, and supervised the direction. It was produced by K. Achi Reddy and S. V. Krishna Reddy under Manisha Films and presented by Kishore Rathi. Storyline
A cowardly college student nicknamed Coconut falls in love with a new girl. To marry her, he must get a job and pay a huge reverse dowry. He takes a job with a criminal gang and gets caught in a web of theft and kidnapping. A mysterious coin gives him the confidence to fight back.
