Yugendran Vasudevan is a Tamil actor, playback singer, and television host, son of the late Malaysian Tamil singer-actor Malaysia Vasudevan, who made his film debut in Poovellam Un Vasam (2001) alongside Ajith Kumar and Jyothika. He is known for roles in films such as Youth (2002), Madhurey (2004), and Nenjathai Killadhe (2008), where he played Inspector Meyyappan, and also contributed music compositions to several films including Nenjathai Killadhe and Veeramum Eeramum. A trained mridangist who gave his first solo performance at age 10 with Dr. Balamurali Krishna and Ilaiyaraaja, he has sung playback for composers including A.R. Rahman and Yuvan Shankar Raja across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. He co-founded Rambutan Productions with his wife, RJ Hayma Malini, producing content for audiences in India, Singapore, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka, and appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil 7 in 2023.
