• Jagdeep and Sanjeev Kumar were both veterans by 1984, but 'Pakhandi' was their first film together. The director, K. Bapaiah, specifically paired them as a comic-relief duo — Jagdeep the loud sidekick, Sanjeev the straight man — a formula they never repeated after these three films.
• In 'Kaanch Ki Deewar' (1986), Sanjeev Kumar played a blind man, and Jagdeep played his caretaker. Jagdeep had to physically guide Sanjeev through every scene — Sanjeev later told a trade magazine that Jagdeep's timing was so precise he never once bumped into a prop.
