Meena had to convince her family to let her do a comedy-heavy role opposite a comedian, not a leading man.
• In 'Dhaya' (2002), Ramesh Khanna and Meena developed a rhythm where he would set up the joke with his deadpan delivery, and she would deliver the punchline with perfect timing.
