• Nassar was the one who pushed Prabhu Deva to take acting seriously. Before Sapnay (1997), Prabhu Deva was just a dancer. Nassar told him he had the face for comedy and drama, not just dance. That conversation changed Prabhu Deva's career.
• In Eazhaiyin Sirippil (2000), Nassar played a strict father opposite Prabhu Deva's son. The entire emotional weight of the film rested on their face-off scenes.
