• Kamal Haasan personally called Napoleon to play the role of 'Kothala Thevar' in Virumaandi (2004). Napoleon was so intimidated by the script's intensity that he asked Kamal for a week to prepare. Kamal said yes, and Napoleon showed up on day one with the character's entire body language locked.
• In Pokkiri (2007), Nassar played the villain 'Ali Bhai' while Napoleon played a cop. They had only one scene together — a face-off in a police station. Napoleon later said that Nassar's silent stare in that scene forced him to raise his own intensity, making the moment the most replayed in the film.
• Nassar and Napoleon have been close friends since the 1990s, long before they acted together. On the sets of Aagadu (2014), they shared a caravan and spent breaks discussing Tamil theatre. Napoleon once said, 'Nassar is the only co-star I can sit with for hours without talking.'
