• In Dookudu (2011), Dharmavarapu Subramanyam’s stammering sidekick act was entirely improvised on set. Sayaji Shinde, playing the villain, kept breaking character because Dharmavarapu’s timing was so unpredictable — the director finally told them to just roll with it, and that scene became a fan favorite.
• Sayaji Shinde and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam were close friends off-screen, but they never once discussed their scenes before shooting. Dharmavarapu once said in an interview that they trusted each other so much that they’d just show up and react — no rehearsal, no plan.
