• Sayaji Shinde and Vennela Kishore first shared screen space in Dookudu (2011) because director Srinu Vaitla specifically wanted a comedic duo that could match Mahesh Babu's timing. Kishore was still a rising mimicry artist, and Shinde was the seasoned villain — Vaitla paired them to create a chaotic energy that would bounce off the hero, not just serve as sidekicks.
• In Baadshah (2013), Shinde played the loud, angry antagonist while Kishore played his nervous, stammering sidekick. The trick was that Kishore would deliberately flub his lines to make Shinde break character — and Shinde would then improvise a louder, more frustrated reaction. • Vennela Kishore once said in an interview: 'Sayaji garu is the only actor who can make me laugh even when the camera is rolling. He'd do something so unexpected that I'd forget my lines — and the director would keep the take because it looked real.'
• In Amar Akbar Anthony (2018), their only film together where they weren't on the same side — Shinde played the villain, Kishore a comic cop.
