• Their first film together, Veede (2003), almost didn't happen. Director E. V. V. Satyanarayana was hesitant to cast Ravi Teja opposite Sayaji Shinde's villain, but Ravi Teja insisted, saying he wanted to learn from Shinde's intensity on set.
• In Krishna (2008), Sayaji Shinde deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery to match Ravi Teja's frantic energy. The result was a push-pull rhythm that made their confrontation scenes crackle — Shinde would pause, Ravi would rush in, and the tension built naturally.
• The hit Amar Akbar Anthony (2018) directly launched the career of director Srinu Vaitla's assistant, who later made a solo debut. That film's success also revived the 'three-heroes-one-villain' template in Telugu, which had been dormant for nearly a decade.
• On the sets of Bengal Tiger (2015), Ravi Teja would call Sayaji Shinde 'anna' (elder brother) off-camera. Shinde, in turn, would bring homemade Maharashtrian snacks for the crew — a ritual he kept for every film they did together.
• Sayaji Shinde once said in an interview: 'Ravi Teja doesn't act — he explodes. I had to learn to stand still and let his bomb go off near me. That's how our scenes worked.'
