• M. S. Narayana was the one who suggested Vennela Kishore for a role in Dookudu (2011). Kishore was still finding his footing in Telugu cinema, and Narayana pushed the director to cast him. That film became a blockbuster and put Kishore on the map.
• In Dookudu, Narayana played the stammering sidekick while Kishore played the nervous, fast-talking friend. They built a rhythm where Narayana’s pauses made Kishore’s rapid-fire lines land harder. It became their signature — the slow guy and the jittery guy bouncing off each other.
