Bharavi, specifically wanted a face-off between two actors who could match each other's intensity in a courtroom scene. • In Pataas (2015), Jaya Prakash Reddy played the villain and Jayaprakash Reddy played a cop. Their only scene together is a interrogation — and the tension works because Jaya Prakash Reddy kept his voice low and still, forcing Jayaprakash Reddy to lean in and raise his own volume. The director said they 'played off each other's volume like a seesaw.'
