• Their first film together, Waqt (2005), almost didn't happen. Akshay was initially hesitant to play a negative role, but Boman — making his Bollywood debut as a lead — convinced him by saying the script needed a star who could make the villain 'cool.' Akshay signed on the next day.
• In Housefull (2010), Boman improvised the line 'Aata majhi satakli' on set. Akshay laughed so hard he broke character, and the director kept the take. That line became the film's most quoted meme — and Akshay later said Boman's comic timing 'forced me to up my game in every scene.'
• Their Housefull series (2010–2019) directly launched the 'multi-starrer comedy franchise' trend in Bollywood. Before Housefull, no Hindi film series had four sequels with the same lead pair.
